- Monitor academic aspects of preparatory and remedial education.
- Conduct periodic reviews and evaluations of preparatory and remedial education.
- Initiate proposals for establishment, evaluation and termination of preparatory and remedial education.
- Report on preparatory and remedial education to the Division and other Senate agencies.
